If you mean to inflate tyres, I have the T-Max 12v one, had it for years and used on my van and LC, and only thing that was a pain was the valve connector, so changed for a conventional type, think it was around £65 when new.

on subject of air... I have a T -max compressor too.... I was looking at mounting it to have it hard wired and on board.
has anyone installed a compressor and where?
teh engine bay is a bit crowded and the Tmax is not so small, I was considering installing it in the back behind the driver side plastic trim in the side of the boot... need to think how to bring power and how to make a bracket to solidly mount it...
but there may be a simpler solution of course...
