Courtesy Light stays on with doors shut and unable to use remote alarm so have to lock doors using the key could you point me in the right direction please |

I would think it's one of the door switches, so probably a bad contact, remove one by one and clean the contacts. _________________ It's Not a Bl**dy Jeep it's a Landcruiser

I took off the switch last night & they haven’t given any room to clean contacts as it’s only just peaking through door frame |

I think it is the back door, and something has fallen off of it. Maybe a small rubber contact gromit that activates the switch. But don't know if that is the case, and what to get to replace it, if it is the case. Could someone look at their car and see it there is a rubber gromit that makes contact to show that the door is closed. And if there is anyone out there who has had this happen before and may know the part that needs replacing. |

This may be due to a malfunction in the vehicle's central locking system. It is advisable to check all the doors of the vehicle, making sure they are completely closed, and make sure the door keys are not inside the vehicle interior. If this does not help, the next step may be to check the fuses associated with the central locking system. |
