Gear box mount question ????????????

Hi people , Can I ask a favour , Can anyone confirm if a bolt is located going up into the mount through the gearbox crossmember . I am still being driven mad with the donk donk  Evil or Very Mad , Thanks

Not quite sure what you mean....

There is a big bolt in the middle of the mount between the mounting plate and the gearbox plate, however from memory its not clamping the two together as such its kind locating the gearbox into a bush in the lower plate... there there is a rubber block either side to absorb vibration I guess...

(you dont undo the big bolt to remove the mount.

Hi Guys,
I had a clonk that was driving me mad.

It turned out to be the top hinge on the rear door.

It to ages to locate it, the sound seemed to come from different places.

Thanks for the link , looking at the image ruels out my thoughts as the mount is bolted to the gearbox and bolted to the crossmember , Back to the drawing board.

OK Paul will have a look , Don't think it will be this because it happens after I have stopped and when I take my foot of the foot brake , Donk
