Just got a 95 LC80 and am looking for a good garage/private mechanic to help with basic work and then overland prep. Banbury/Oxford area ideal but am happy to travel. No main dealers though - too expensive ! Any suggestions?

And thanks to you too - good to get confirmation. I checked out his site and the setup looks just what I need. Particularly liked the idea of a bit of hands on novice training to find my way around the truck.

I know this is an old thread but Julian has had my engine for TWO YEARS. He does not answer his phone or reply to emails, I have no idea where he is on this. I have given up, am preparing to serve CC papers, and will look elsewhere for an engine. NO WAY would I recommend.
