Hi Guys on my Colorado the engine management light has decided to come on. Always on the same scenario when I'm coming down a steepish hill and lift of the throttle. When normal driving is resumed the light goes out and all is good again.
Advice sought anybody had a similar scenario? Should I be worried? Is a local garage likely to be able to find a fault code? Any advice gratefully received

Do you feel a drop in power? I've had something a little like that, though for me driving uphill. For me it's the boost sensor cutting fuel, and lifting off in my case turns the EM light off.
Hi Andrew I will have to take it to someone with the correct equipment to plug it in and see if there is a fault code. I did notice that my oil level is a little high on the dipstick. Do you think this would cause the management light to come on?
