Its better to remove the and have someone with the equipment to check the pressure output of your pump.
If not ,it can be rebuilt relatively easy.
If you want to put much bigger tyres on you may need to adapt a bigger pump to fit.
The Americans have a lot of these engines in their 4Runners and do a lot of modifications to the steering to run bigger tyres.
They may have special pumps ready made for this purpose _________________ 1995 HZJ75 troop carrier

Rosco has the best plan, for sure your pump has a PRV that can be shimmed or a bigger spring fitted, BUT, it will probably blow the seals, overheat, and just not last long. Better to fit a pump thats made to cope with the extra presure. |
