Anyone got ideas on workshop manuals for a 2003 V8 Amazon. I could do with one for those "unforseen" DIY jobs that I don't want to pay a Main Dealer for! |

I've got a 2002 Amazon and the club shop manuals cover this car. Most of the basic bits on your car are still the same but you never know when there will be a difference which will catch you out. However, it' probably worth getting a copy of the Max Ellery Manual just for the basics.
After that it's probably necessary to visit your 'Friendly Toyota Dealer' who can sell you some CDs with the required information. They're just the thing to help you replace the front suspension on your driveway on a wet December afternoon (not).
Obviously, the garage trade has covered workshops which these days include computers but most of us have to rely on more basic facilities.
Expect to pay around £60 per CD and for complete cover you probably need several. There is one for the automatic transmission for example.
You could try e bay, but it's a gamble what you will get. Be careful about the year. It's easy to find you have bought the CD for an older model which rather defeats the object of the exercise.

Great information. I'll try the WSM & go try the CD's if it's not covered. |
