Hi,
no response to my first post, but I have now found the timer relay. So does anyone know what the 12/24volt timer relay does exactly?
Any help will be good.

The 12V/24V timer relay switches the 24V on for the starter and switches it back to 12V when the engine starts. All the other electrics on the LC are 12V except the starter.
