Hi, am a new member of this forum, I'm a Brit living in South Africa currently visiting the UK 'till mid July and came accross your site.

This is my Cruiser

She's a 2000 model South African spec 105 Series (that's a 100 Series on an 80 Series chassis ie solid front axle).

It has 3 factory diff locks and is fully fitted for safari. Suspension mods includes:

upsized tyres BFG All Terrain 285/27/R16

Rancho RS 9000 dampers (shocks)

OME coils uprated to 500 kg constant at the back

3 castor correction bushes on front trailing arms
Other accessories include

180 litre Long Ranger tank (from Aus) giving a total capacity of 280 litres

Dual battery system and 80 litre National lunar fridge freezer

ARB bull bar

Twin rear wheel carrier

Roof top tent -

Canvas seat covers - Melville and Moon

Aluminium packing system - self fabricated

Window tinting - to reduce UV

Thomas pump - fitted under the bonnet

Plus a whole lot more.

I've used this vehicle for extended safaris in South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Mosambique and Zambia.

Thanks Andy, BB codes seem to be working for me now.

Meantime here are a few more for the Cruiser cognosenti..

A friend's 105 series clearly showing solid front axle (the 105 has the same chassis as the 80 series)

My safari packing system showing fridge/ freezer on slider

A 105 goes for a little swim

105s in the dunes of Namibia (Soussosvlei)

My Cruiser cocks a 'leg'

A friend's 105 very nearly looses it going up a 41° rock (still from a video)
