Hi Leon,
The susspension sounds very complicated, and I can see why there are more problems with it than just a set of 'standard coil springs'
Probably very good when it is all working right, as Mr T, designed it.
However, I think the Land Cruiser being a Land Cruiser should in this area of advancement, have stuck to the reliable coil springs.

Thanks Leon. and yes I agree with the fact that it kind of goes against the Toyota ethos by employing a Citroen/Range Rover invention lol, next they will be puttingheadlights that turn with the steering wheel ha ha.

One More question? An auto Electrician has asked me the make and model of the factory installed Sat nav, Audio system ..it seems a daft question.. I just told him 'well erm its Toyota's standard unit they put in the LC5..but he insisted there is actually a model/componant number/details..this is for him to fit a Digital Freeview TV tuner..cant seem to find anything

pull it out and look on the back  Razz   was there any hand book with it ? dose it give any kind of start up screen that may tell you what it is ?

There is a list of LC heads from 2003 dont know if this helps

Vette the AHC i beleave was the anser to the 80's and idd 100's rolling over when terned sharply on motor ways  (swerve test aka moose test) and the genral wollowing feel the LC can have on the road some times ,with its grate weight size and hight witch has been said to be like "sea sickness " for afected people ....not ideal for off road but i spend most my time on raod  Smile  horse's for corse's i  think
