i've been in the lakes for a long weekend, so took the opportunity to do a couple of easy lanes, ie tarn hows and hodge close.
i've done a fair bit of laning in a defender 90, and a tiny bit in a disco 3 ( when it was working) and need less to say the cruiser was spot on. didn't need to lock the centre diff, and tc didn't kick in all the time (which was aproblem in the d3)
there were no issues with grounding (phew) as the lanes are quite rocky, and width wasn't an issue anywhere. all i managed to bend was the bracket for the caravan electrics. There were 5 family menbers in it, 2 of us enjoyed it i "surprised" everyone, they didn't know we were going.
anyone who's putting off trying greenlaning should give it a go. |

Great - glad you enjoyed it! Any pics?? _________________ I'll be more enthusiastic about encouraging thinking outside the box when there's evidence of any thinking going on inside it.
