He said there was a loud bag and could not get any gears after, he has break down cover so I'm guessing I will see him on the Ship to Portsmouth  Question

It's a K-Reg 110 200TDI

He has not had much luck this trip.

You might see him but not his truck.

Most breakdown cover policies will repatriate the vehicles occupants straightaway then, wait until they have a few vehicles coming back to UK before they get returned on one transporter Crying or Very sad

Hello Jon  Smile

Yes

The gearbox failed crossing Spain on Friday (500 miles to Bilbao) we were due to catch the Sunday ferry.

The recovery company would not take the LR to Bilbao and would only allow a car to Bilbao airport so Dave chose to go back to Malaga airport and caught a plain home from there on Saturday.

Dave's 110 hopefully will be returned to him this Friday.

We did have a very good trip until the fault though.

My pictures are Here

Titles are based on Chris Scott's Book (Morocco Overland).

If you are interested in the Garmin track log, then I can send it (or anyone else PM your email address)

Oh well at least it failed on the return leg - some consolation. Maybe he'll get wise now and buy a LC !!   Laughing  Laughing

Have PM'd you re log.

Cant open the album ATM - but maybe security settings on work PC - try later at home.

Cheers
