Having read Garys thread 2 or 3 times has left me very keen to follow in the tyre tracks this year.
http://www.tlocuk.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5930
A few expressed an interest on the thread so i've started this one so we can make a start on organising something.
I'm thinking August or September. Please post up your interest and any preferences for dates etc.
Thanks, Graham

Well I'm definately up for it. September would be better for me once the kiddies are back to school, as my girlfriend works as a restaurant manager in a touristy area and is more likely to be able to get the time off then. _________________

3 vehicles is about the limit for where we camped, especialy on the saturday night so if there's more of you than that you might want to look for other options. _________________ Jon m0zxj

i'm up for it ( assuming i'm not working) for camping there's great site here, the owner's sound, you can have a campfire, and there's a free house 10 mins walk away. it's a short drive to rusland pool and the fox in grizedale too:

good campsite any time of the year for a base for laning, they have camping pods and are having a yurt built too with a woodburner. |

The camp site looks the biz.
I'd like to wild camp but like Wildsmith says, the group will be too big for that so i recon we go with the fast but dim's suggestion.
How does Friday and Saturday camping with a full day laning on Saturday sound?
Few bevvies Saturday night and a late start for the trip home Sunday, maybe a bit of laning Sunday morning?
W'll have to keep groups to a max of 6 vehicles so as not to upset too many other trail users etc. However, we can look at the logistics of running more than 1 group nearer the time.
