Hi, i have 1993 landcruiser amazon import, got stuck in mud while off road, engaged low gear box and low on auto box but back wheels where turning but not front, there is small red button in front of gear lever that i am told is diff lock, when pressed made no difference, anybody out there that can advise me, cheers, wording on switch is in japanese! |

welcome
small button is an over ride switch to let you move lever out of park if you have flat battery - there is a small lock on it - normally you would have to put your foot on brake before moving it out of park and into gear.
when you put it in low ratio did the yellow centre difflock light come on and the abs light up as well? _________________ HDJ80, BFG AT's, grooved discs, OME 850/860's |
