Hello folks

let's see what you have to say about this
a friend needs new nozzles for his HJ61 with the 12HT engine
he went to a specialist and they tested his injectors and then put in nozzles from a Dyna truck engine
said they were the same
but probably not engine lacks power
Then I checked with various sources and for example www.toyotadiy.com has the same parts number listed for 2H as for 12HT nozzles - 23620. Injector is 23600.

Checked with the aussie dealers and one said they are the same. The next one said absolutely not, and want to sell a set for around £200.
Local Toyota dealer doesn't have a clue and I haven't found another local source.
Does anyone know for sure? Before we go out and buy the wrong part, again.

A bit late maybe ,but if you look at the 85 model dynas,they are also using the 23620 nozzle kit. It possibly has some other problem.

I posted on IHmud and got a bunch of replies - their 60 series forum is amazingly active.

They led me to the dutch guys at http://www.all-american.nl/
Fast reply, and their price is even better than I was quoted from Oz.

"In the toyota partprograme the partnumbers for complete injectors as well as for nozzles are different, so parts are not interchangeable.
The partnumbers you supplied are only the searchnumbers in this programme: for instance 23600 indicates we are talking about an injector, and the second 5 digits is identifying for which car it is.
Please see below.
We have the injectors for a 12HT in stock: we sell these at 148.20 euro, excl taxes, ex Works
Another difference: 2H is indirect injected, and the 12HT is directly injected.. parta are really different!!!!!!!"
