Need some opinions/advice here. I'm giving some serious thought to putting a roof rack on my 95 LC.

My use for the vehicle, overlanding in Africa. I'll probably carry a spare tire and some water up there initially. In the future I may put up a roof top tent.

What roof racks have you all had a good experience with. What's the cost? Anyone have a good used roof rack? =)

David

Hannibal is what I imported and fitted. It is super strong and sturdy. The other option I considered was Frontrunner Wind Cheetha racks, but you'll struggle to get one that was made to fit a 95 series.

I had the geniune Toyota rack, but thought it might be a bit too small for overlanding with a rrt, so fitted the Hannibal rack instead.

My LC is an 80 series and if you have the Toyota roof rack still, I might be interested.

Sorry David I don't know the make or model, as far as I know it was fitted from new. I bought the car from a chap who had it from new & as far as I know everything was from the Main dealer.
I have sent you some more pictures via email.
cheers
Chris
