i have got landcruiser vx 4.2 td import 1994 the cd player works but will not play my cds it keeps regecting them is it possible to convert it to play english cds

Terry,
Looks like your CD player is goosed...
Pre recorded CD's are all recorded in the same format.
It's the DVD's ( & Old video tapes) & TV's that have different formats for
the different regions of the world. Hence multi region DVD players.
Try and get a cotton wool bud in and clean the laser lense...
