Just seen a Land Cruiser Colorado 3.0 TD GX 5dr Auto (2000) for sale looks a1 condition £4500


SUSPENSION LIFT.BUILT IN REMOTE WINCH...SPENT £3000 ON ENGINE AND BOX..BF GOODRICH TYRES..CB RADIO ETC,


Any advice on this model as an overlander is the 3L up to the job? I will be towing expedition trailer.

I did miles and miles off road in a petrol pajero which must have been similar (or less) power.  It was slow at times, but I almost always got there under my own power.  This was at 5000+ feet, so pretty tough conditions.  Often in mud for 8 hours a day.

a good 80 series would be the gold standard, but suspect a prado would do OK.   How heavy is the trailer?
