Hi, Tail lamps in the rear bumper.

Does anyone know ..... if they arent working (new bulbs)... 10A fuses are fine, wiring appears to be fine.
original bulb was blackened/blown,

i cant find the problem, is there a relay i dont know about?

Sad

I dont think 60 series normally have a bumper with tail lights, its all contained within the lights on the fender.
Usually its only done to vehicles that carry jerry cans or oversize tyres on the rear that obscure the tail lights from certain angles.

The 1st thing that springs to mind is the quality of the wiring.
Put a test lamp on it and work back.

Ill take a guess and say you have a problem where the last owner split the wiring. It will probably be behind the tailights on the fender.

Hey Rosco thanks for that, i went straight out and looked when i saw your post.

you were right, the last owner or mechanic had daisy chained off the rears for the towbar plug.
One wire behind the right quarter (leading back to the 24v/12v converter box thingy) was split with green corrosion and hanging off.

all working perfectly now with solder and heat shrink.

Thank a lot for that.
