Hi all,
My key fob has not been working well for a couple of days with you having to be close the LC to operate but today it locked the doors but would not open them. Eventually it did open so I fitted another battery and tried again with no luck. The door would not lock so I am using the key at the moment. Any ideas on what the problem is and how to solve it.
Regards,
Dick (Edinburgh) |

Hi Dick, firstly could you try the search function. This subject has been covered on numerous occasions and it does get a little tiresome going through it again. Sorry to hear you're having problems. The TVSS fobs are never that good at the best of times.
For starters, try HERE <-- Click to view

I know this one is pretty old now but I had the same problem ( or it sounds the same). I resolved it by changing the battery in the key. Really easy just a few screws to undo. With a new battery it worked as it should again. |
