Hello to all,

I am a new member and hope that some of you good people can help me out with a few questions that I have about my 2001 Toyota Prado.

My Prado is a turbo diesel, 4 cylinders (motor 1KZ-TE) with an automatic transmission and 5 doors. The transmission is an Aisin mod.# 30-43LE.

My questions are:
1 - How many quarts of transmission fluid are used on a drain and refill (just using the drain plug)? The manual that came with the Prado says 2.1 but I drained out 4.2 (the fluid level was correct before draining). The trans. calls for dexron 2 fluid. Can I use dexron 3 fluid?
2 - How many grease fittings are on the drive shafts? I have found 8 so far.
3 - How do I tell whether or not my Prado has a system to block the rear differential?
4 - How do I tell if the differential is standard or limited slip?

If you can answer any of the 4 questions please do so.
