I have a 1997 Prado 3l Turbo Diesel Automatic.

The brake pedal feels spongy, sinks in 3/4 with the engine running and the car sometimes feels like dragging on brakes.

It has a new Mass cylinder and a new booster. I have also changed the seal kits on the calipers all round.

I have also checked the parking brake and it is Ok.

It has ABS so do i need any special tools or bleed it the normal way?

I have already done bleeding the usual way.

Also the Brake warning light (Handbrake light) comes on if i pump the pedal quickly a few (5 or 6) times and goes off immediately if i stop pumping.

I also removed the vaccum hose going into the booster and tried braking while driving slowly , now the car does not feel like dragging and obviously the pedal is very firm.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
