HI Guys,
Just put a deposit on a 2005 LC4 55, can anyone recommend a insurance (cheap) broker
or I might need to transfer my current insurance to this car, but that might be expensive with swinton!
Any help please |

I tend to find comparison sites are cheaper if your vehicle is standard... _________________ 2004 4.2 Landcruiser Amazon |

I went to the swinton branch that does our cars and they are gonna just charge me a extra £125 upgrade fee. Deciding to take that than the hassle of a million quotes to do before Saturday.
But, I will note all of them mentioned here and keep them ready for next year. |

I agree with trying comparison sites every year and you always get discount as a new customer every year....I search them each year and if you register your details with them it will save you putting in your details over and over again each time |

I think your better doing it that way, as you would probably had a cancellation charge to pay if you swapped to another company, often the charge exceeds the pro-ratio refund which you would be due,(I have difficulty understanding this, I think it's just a way to get more money out of you) once I had a policy paying it monthly and cancelled it half way and they wanted to charge me 250 pounds cancellation fee I refused to pay it and asked for the ombudsmans details, same day they reduced the charge to 100 pounds, I still wasn't happy but I paid. |

Right guys, the time has come, not that the renewal is due.
I need to look for a cheaper Insurance quote. Swinton want £895.60!!
In November, I just paid the difference and swapped car, well added this car to the existing poilcy as the other car was written off.
Now I have had a quote and its about £900!
Not paying that |
