I have a problem with the suspension on my LJ 78. There is a button
with normal/sport which does not appear to do anything. The suspension seems to be very hard especially at the front. In Bury where I live we have thousands of road humps and massive traffic calming obstacles. These make driving around town very uncomfortable and force me to go over them at very slow speeds(slower than anything else on the road). The ride at the moment is more like an 80's XR2 than a 4x4. Does anyone know how to make the suspension adjust otherwise I think I will have to change the shocks. Thanks |

Have a look at the shocks anyway, it sounds like someone has already changed them, so that's why the switch is not doing anything. _________________ It's Not a Bl**dy Jeep it's a Landcruiser

Thanks Andy I've had a look at the shocks and I think they may be originals as they have all the wires on the top. Are these height sensors? If so what actually adjusts the shocks? I've had the elecs at to work to check the switch and they say it is OK. Any idea what is between the switch and the shocks i.e relays? and any idea where they are? |

When you flick the switch it turns a small servo on the top of the shock, this turns the piston which either makes the shock harder or softer, so maybe it would be an idea to remove one to see if there working. _________________ It's Not a Bl**dy Jeep it's a Landcruiser
