Help Req, My Friends have a colorado R reg 1998 3ltr diesel 85K Auto. the vehicle seems to lose power as if the clutch is slippng, the transmission light comes on. if they wait for a while the engine seems ok they have had the oils checked and they seem to be ok. any suggestions please. cheers paul

Check auto box fluid

what i meant was that it feels like a clutch was slipping. it was the only way i could describe it, the feeling of a loss of power while the engine was still going strong. my friends inform me that they have checked the auto fluids and they seem ok?

in a previous posting it was mentioned switches on the side of the auto box can be faulty? any ideas. thanks paul
