Hi, New to the forum, so hopefully this is in the correct place. Just bought a 1998 Colorado 5 door 3.4 auto. The front end in particular seems to be sitting very high, if anybody has a similar model would it be possible to measure the wheel arch heights from the ground, front and rear.

Thanks Dave B

I have the same model in standard trim. I measures 880mm at the front and 885mm at the rear empty with half a tank of fuel.

You're probably better off in the 90 Series section of the forum.

Thanks for the reply, that's a good bit lower than mine at 920mm front and rear. Maybe have the wrong springs fitted!

It could have had a lift. Standard tyres are 265/70 x 16Inch, it's popular to fit taller ones.

Welcome to the forum btw; forgot to say that in the first reply.

Still got standard wheels and tyres, I'm wondering if the shocks have siezed, causing it to sit up a bit. The search continues!
