Hi all,
Just after opinions - I have a 51 plate Colorado vx in gold, it’s a lovely lovely motor and I’ve not long spent roughly £1300 on getting it tip top. A recent change in jobs means a pick up is needed as the landcruisers interior would get destroyed so obviously I’d go for a hilux. The landcruiser has about 157k on the clock full service history, decent chassis and 11 months mot with no advisories. Based on that little bit of information what would people give as a rough value now? Would it be worth me hanging on to it for a while if there’s potential on the prices appreciating after a while?
Thanks! |

If it's as good as you say, then around £4.5-5k I think might be reasonable - prices seem to be quite solid at the moment, so you might even aim higher!
The engine and drivetrain will be reliable if maintained properly and the body/paintwork and interior will come up like new with a valet. The chassis and underside will probably have the most influence on value, as most Collies of this age will have already suffered quite a bit of corrosion by now. So even ones that look shiny and nice inside and out, can be pitiful underneath. _________________ '97 VZJ95 - Colorado 3.4V6 with LPG, 40mm Ironman SL, full SS exhaust, 265/75R16 Hankook Dynapro RF10s on 80 alloys and 195k+ |

Thanks, yes it had 1 owner from new up until 2019 and was serviced every 8/10k, have stacks of paper work. The underside is very good, has had a tiny bit of welding in the past just the once and doesn’t need anymore.
