Good point about the Forte fuel treatment there from Tractionman, wouldn't do any harm to shove a can of that through.

I use any supermarket fuel and add Millers Diesel eco power or whatever its called this week also some standard cheapo mineral 2T oil to each fill up, been doing this years, whether its doing any good who knows?, some will say these things are snake oil, but i'll carry on anyway.
Tried the more expensive super fuels a few times but never noticed any difference, though to my nose fuel treated with Millers smells the same as the presumed power versions of Diesel fuel, but that's my still fairly sensitive shonk reporting findings which is hardly a scientific analysis of what addidives are involved.

Obviously Tony and i have come across different versions of tuning box, whatever version i wouldn't want one, our Toyotas pull well if looked after and running right.

Tony has had an Ozbush mapper for years, by all accounts very good and reliable, he can tell you more anyway.
Like all that type of thing if they are abused and turned to the max, everything will suffer, so no point then.

2T oil, forgot about that Juddian, yep another old favourite I too have used. Asda's finest, always worked for me, seems to run smoother with it, so snake oil or not, I am happy to run it. I know modern derv does not have the scouring effect that the old derv had, as there is less sulphur etc, but as far as Im concerned the more lubrication the better.

I have a ozbush mapper but do not use any of the extra power settings or economy settings , even though the maximum power or economy setting is only 15% (under the 20% plus or minus threshold ) I keep the fuel settings on neutral I use it solely for the deletion of the egr valve function that it has so that I can use a full egr blanking plate and not get any engine warning light (p400) , the ozbush mapper does not connect to the common rail fuel pressure connector like all the tuning boxes do, but instead connects to the maf sensor so that it can if you want it to tell the ecu to add more fuel than standard or less fuel than standard ,and the latest ones can also ask for more or less turbo boost . but as I said I keep mine on the neutral setting and use the egr delete function only .

They do go extremely well if running right. Something off a shovel springs to mind.
