After the festive eating drinking and sitting on my bum I thought it was time to fit the new pads and discs 99D802A3-D794-4191-9A68-DAB47AE0350E by [/url], on Flickr
.
When removing the calliper I needed to support this as the short flexable hose is connected to a metal brake pipe so out with a piece if timber

To give a bit more flexibility I detached the clamp that holds the pipe / hose in place

These are the pads and discs use Brembo

One thing I was unsure about , Between the back of the pad and the caliper piston were 2 shims , anti squeal , Not seen 2 fitted on any other vehicle before

Overall a fairly straight forward job .

Hi,
Yes same as my 1999 colorado, not many vehicle's have the 2 different shims per side to me it's confirmation of a quality built vehicle.

Nice - another upgrade you might want to consider is swapping those rubber brake hoses for steel braided ones... give the pedal a nicer feel and means never having to worry about them on MOT Smile
