By coincidence I ordered a wheel bearing kit and 35mm impact socket yesterday. I opted for the set with the bearing, hub and housing already pressed together. My thinking is that I don't need to pay a garage to fit it, and I can do it over the weekend when everything is shut. Even if it doesn't last that long I can just buy the bearing and seals and get my work to press them into the old housing and hub for next time, or to use if the other side goes. The complete set is cheaper than a bearing alone for my wife's Peugeot 107, and that needs a garage to fit on top of the parts cost.
I'm surprised how good the parts support for these LC's is. I wouldn't have thought the sales of such a large vehicle would have been high enough in the UK, would love to know the figures. Presumably quite a lot is the same as the Hi Lux? |

I assume thats the front - definitely the right way to go!
I think the back needs a press... |
