Issue:
I'm experiencing an intermittent problem with the dashboard indicators on my 1997 HDJ/VX 80, a 24-valve, 4.2 turbo diesel. The "T-belt" and "Turbo" lights blink/flash momentarily when the RPM goes just above 2000 or when the engine is under load, such as during hill climbs. Once I increase RPM this issue goes away.
Toyota's Feedback:
I consulted Toyota, but they were unable to provide a solution. Their response was, "As long as the lights only blink for a second, keep on driving."
Request for Community Help:
I would like to understand why these dashboard indicators are blinking and how to resolve the issue. Has anyone experienced this problem, and if so, what did you do to fix it? Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated! |

I would check the output from the alternator first, also the fan belts for slipping. _________________ It's Not a Bl**dy Jeep it's a Landcruiser
