Can someone help me? I am a very proud owner of a Toyota Prado LJ78 2.4 TD. It is an 8 seater Japanese import. I bought it in the UK and now I live in Italy and am trying to re-register it here, to be an Italian registered car. However the Italian authorities want me to make the following changes to comply with Italian law.
Remove the towbar, window tinting and ladder on the back: NO PROBLEM
Change all the lights and the seatbelts as they do not have a CE mark on them (Conforms to European standards)
I have drawn a blank on new lenses as the car was never sold in the UK or Italy. Can anyone recommend a solution / supplier for the lenses for the back. I can probably find the front ones in Italy as a short wheel base version was sold here with the same front assembly.
My insurance is up soon so I need a solution pronto, as they say here! |

Cheers mate, I will try our main dealer, but I doubt they will import patrs from Japan. My issue is having a CE (European Community) approval stamp on the product so that it gets thru the inspection!!

Toyota have a european stock holding in Belgium, so you should be able to get parts. _________________ It's Not a Bl**dy Jeep it's a Landcruiser
