I have a silent car alarm, the warning lights activate but horn doesn't sound. Could anyone tell me where the alarm unit is on this jinxed car of mine. Horn works on normal operation and no cables have been visibly removed from main horns.

Just in case anyone needs the answer, I read on another thread it's in the inner wing, offside behind the battery, you need to remove the side lights or plastic inner arch to get to it.

What sort of alarm ?, i have a toad alarm & there's a button on the fob to keep it silent.
