can anyone tell me where the engine tacho pick up is?  the car has a 2 LT engine,  the wiring loom on mine has had a melt down some time ago, I have the wire from the dash but can't find where it should go Sad

It has the denso rotary pump like the 6cyl diesels which has the pick up on the pump.
If its there ,it will be hidden on the engine side of the pump and have 2 wires  and a plug coming from it.

would never have found it, the plug was lurking between the pump and the block. Tacho working again
