Or should I say candles...

My reflectors look OK but the light output is inadequate to say the least...

I have 50% super brilliance bulbs fitted, but they are still rubbish.

Aside from monster powerful bulbs, which may melt something important, are they any other options to improve the situation?  Such as replacement light units that have better designed reflectors etc?

They often suffer from low voltage through bad contacts in the plugs. All the landcruisers from this era seem to suffer from yellow headlight syndrome.

You could rig up some temporary wiring direct to the battery to see if they are brighter and confirm my diagnosis
