Love the pictures Paul!!! Would loved to have come along, maybe next time!! Where was the dam??? And what happened at the locked gate, did you have to re-route??? Think I would probably have made the route with the *beep* Marshalls on at the moment, but will feel more confident when I get some Cooper STT's. Any chance you could email me the route please???? Thanks, Rob. |

There were lots of Dams but all were around the Elan Vally.
PM me an email addressand I can send the routes over tomorrow.
As for the gate, yes we rerouted and I have reported it and waiting for a reply. But its never been locked before.

Judging by the pictures. It looks like a great time was had by all.
I shall certainly make the effort to trundle up from Devon if you run another trip.
I'm sure your efforts in organising the trip were appreciated.

many thanks to Paul, Mark and everbody involved in organising a thoroughly enjoyable weekend's laning, for my second trip out it was a steep learning curve, and it was a terrific experience with plenty of helpfull advice for which i am greatfull.
The photo's posted were great, and i have added a few of my own on photobucket at BrynRali/RhayaderJuly2008/
(can't do any posh links as i'm a newbie on the site and it won't let me) |

We do normally, our runs are very popular in the club and usually overfill within a day or two of posting and have to be locked off at a dozen or so, then we could go off in different directions of groups of between 4 and 6 but there was only 7 of us this time so we stuck together. That lane in the photos was done by only 5 of us, 3 winched ourselves over the worst and two with difflocks actually managed to drive it all, the others went round and met up with us Beulah. Fantastic weekend and the weather was superb |
