Hi all, here's hoping someone can bring my hassle level down a notch or two !

I recently bought a 2003 LC4 - best car decision I ever made and i'm still on cloud 9 - however im looking to fit my bluetooth stereo and new speakers but am having real difficulty in identifying the right fascia adaptor, wiring adaptor and speaker dimensions. i'm not even sure if it will house standard speakers or if i will have to get aftermarket speaker mounts? All the internet searches i've done come back with either Colarado (up to 03) or Amazon specs.

So far i have drawn a complete blank with the local toyota main dealer (John Roe ), Halfords and specialist car audio centre ( the latter's answer being, " we don't get many requests for that car" (!) ). Its too nice a car for me to start prodding around in it ( like i've done on my previous cars !) so i'd be really grateful for any experience or suggestions people could share......

ps apologies in advance if i'm missing something obvious here which would answer these questions

pps Why is it always only after you've posted your first question that you notice yourself looking a complete idiot by mistyping Colorado?

In my Colorado all I did was take off the door cards and remove the speakers complete with mountings. The speakers are glued onto the mountings as well as screwed. Once removed, standard speakers can be fitted to the adaptors. I think mine where 6.5 inch dia or 17cms . The stereo head  unit  just bolted into the existing brackets. I know mine is an earlier model but the Max Ellery manual says that dash mountings for audio are similiar for both models. Hope this helps Smile

PS, forgot to say that I didnt bother with an adaptor for the wiring. I just cut the original loom on the back of the radio and linked it to the new radio loom. Toyota wiring on my car was the same colour codes for power, etc as my head unit (pioneer). The radio harness should have two plugs about 3 to 4 inches from the back of the original radio. I cut these about half way from the plug and spliced onto the new unit wiring. If I'm right , your front surround  should just pull away from the dash and you should be able to see the screws holding the radio in.
