would realy appreciate if you guys could help me out here my lc5 120 on 03 plate manual ticks over when warm an in neutral at about 700rpm this seems a bit low to me.could you please see what yours ticks over at when warm an let me know,thanks matt. |

If it were my car, the only worry I would have is that the oil pressure drops when the engine is idling slowly. 700rpm sounds OK but keep an eye on the oil pressure when the engine is hot. It shouldn't be a problem in the UK till next summer - whenever that is!
However, if you are planing a trip to Spain or the Sahara, you might want to take some precautions.

That is exactly what I would expect it to be on a diesel engine of that size and type. It's just the sem on mine.

Mine is 18 months old and ticks over at 700rpm when at working temperature.... it always has done |

thanks everyone for your replys,if yours are all the same seems i have nothing to worry about,just sounds an seems slugish on pull away until it gets to about the 1000 revs mark,just have to be heavier with my right foot.thanks matt. |
