I'm sure Julian can bring along a power-washer / steam cleaner to help
Just think - this could become the latest 'extreme TV' fad |

We do have a new water splash on the offroad course - if you get in a bit early it should't be too muddy for a bath _________________ Cheers,

By the sounds of things, the water will certainly be muddy after the bath _________________ Andrew

Yes, I am. It's sitting in red wine, garlic and homegrown rosemary at the minute. I'd like to cook it from scratch on an open fire. Last trip I pre cooked it and just heated it through. I shot a right moose at the weekend so there's enough for a taste but not for 60! It's only a little pot. I'd have been better sticking it on a pole and bringing it in one piece.

A big thanks to Julian, Tony, Ian, Chris and all the old timers who showed us newbies how it's done. It was a great time and I learned lots.
And some more...

Thanks to everyone who made it to Lincomb for a really great weekend. All you new guys in your 'shinies' well done for giving it such a good go and all the best for your overlanding aspirations. Hope that what we were able to give you all helps you out someday. See you at the next one - difflocks working, eh?
And thanks to Tony and Julian for making it happen, once again.
Pig was very tasty!

A big thank you to everyone for a fantastic weekend! Especially the organisers - a great weekend for all! As a newbie I was very grateful for the advice, encouragement and help I was given!
Yes, a lot of the gloss was taken off my paintwork on the laning yesterday - but nothing that won't "polish out"...
I'll post any good pics that I've got of the action from today and yesterday once i've downloaded them.

Who broke what? Come on - 'fess up! I know there was some damage incurred ....
I managed to introduce new paint effects on the front bumper and the one corner of the rear bumper doing the 'Waterfall' and Sarn Helen, but that seems to be it (until I get under the vehicle tonight to clean out the mud!) Damn barbie-bumpers - soon to be replaced
Dirk - remodelled side step
Jon - hmmm - what exactly DID you break?
Chris - bust your air hoses ?
Who else? |

Graham used a tree to restyle the side of his 100 and I managed to straighten my front bumper driving through a ditch, but apart from that most of it was good harmless fun.
I'm gathering up a stack of photos that I'll post up in the next day or two. _________________ Cheers,

I'd have to say Jon's damage looked (sounded) the most severe that I witnessed
My damage was mostly cosmetic - my shiny paint has now been "bush-brushed" with thousands of scratches courtesy of some tight lanes on Saturday. My CVs were complaining loudly by the end of the off-road session, no doubt added to by my growing confidence and enthusiasm booting it around the slippery stuff and up the hills! And my electrics socket next to the towbar is pretty much twisted off - saved me a little bit of work when I cut the bottom part of my Witter plate off!
Thanks to all for making it a great weekend!
