Jap ‘n’ Jeep Jam
National Off-Road Jamboree

Sibbertoft 4x4 Off-Road Centre
Welford Road, Husbands Bosworth
nr. Market Harborough, Leics LE16 9UJ

4th - 5th July 2009[/color][/b]

Building on experience gained over the last 12 years organising 14 major off-road events, the time has finally arrived to launch a brand new event that has been waiting in the wings for far too long.

Entitled Jap ‘n’ Jeep Jam (as apart from 4x4 traders/officials, there won’t be a Land Rover in sight) the event will feature all manner of off-road vehicles including 4x4’s and ATV’s – together with accessories and associated equipment – hailing solely from the USA, Japan, Korea and Asia ... a true first in the UK!

Also, unlike an expensive show or exhibition, the concept behind Jap ‘n’ Jeep Jam is to provide a fun, value-for-money family weekend – a big ‘get together’ if you like – the way 4x4 events used to be! Features include:-

Trade and autojumble area
(don’t however expect masses of Trade Stands - the fact is there will be
a lot less traders attending events in 2009).

Optional public off-road course.

‘Gymkhana’ type vehicular entertainment where drivers can actually participate in rather than just watch!

Free Club Display stands
(applications invited).

Beer tent with entertainment Friday & Saturday nights.

Children’s amusements.

Sensible day admission and camping fees.

*

Day admission per day (Sat or Sun): £5 adult, child under 16 yrs free.

Camping per night (Fri, Sat or Sun): £8 per caravan, motorhome or any size tent.

NOTE: All “European 4x4’s” of Japanese origin are also welcome  i.e. Vauxhall Frontera, Ford Maverick, etc.

‘Club discounts’ are available (POA) should your club decide to utilise the event to hold its National Rally.

Has anyone ever been to this event?
Is it worth going?
I'm thinking of going - Is anyone else going?

It's a brand new event so nobody will have been.

But worth a look though.

Sounds really good,

If I was in the UK at the time, I am sure I would be there.

However, work comes first, and it looks like I will be flying East next Wednesday.

Little place called China.  Laughing  Laughing

Zhoushan in China if any one wants to look.

They have some thing like 6 yards.

Just south across the bay from Shanghai
