Just a question for anyone else to try. When low range is selected it seems that 5th gear does not work on my vehicle it will only change up into 4th 5th does work in high range. The car is a 2008 LC4.
Anyone else going to go out and try thiers to see if it is the same.

Hi Glen,
My first question would be,
why do you want to go so fast in 'low range' that you need 5th. ?
I would have thought in low range just 1 and 2nd , perhaps 3rd would be more than enough.

Hi I don`t require high range 5th I am just curious as to why it does not work. Now if it was a Manual it would work.
I think 4th is direct drive so mr Toymota has locked out the aoto 5th.

I am with Vette on this one.... how come you would wonder why 5th gear does not work when in low range
Maybe Mr T in his wonderous wisdom thought.... 'one one would want to use 5th gear in low then I won't provide it' |
