3 of my tyres on my '92 vx td keep going down. it has been suggested that the wheels (originals) need re-skimming (?) as an alternative to buying a new set (expensive!). does this sound normal or any ideas on wheel prices? i've had the beast for 5 years now so time for some tlc!

Get tubes put in the tyres, cheap and you get your tyres re-balanced as well.

I had a similar problem with one of my tyres so I just gave it a squirt of tyre sealer available in aerosol form and that cured it.Fitting a tube in a tubeless tyre/wheel combination is neither recommended or safe.In fact I'm pretty sure it is now actually illegal.
