sidenote : is it true all cars made in the USA cant take corners then vette ?

There are few cars that corner well in USA.
A few of them can corner well, 'out of the box'

Ironic that Ferrari copied the magnehelic electronic suspension right from the 'vette
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magneto_rheological_damper
Some others just need a few suspension changes, and will also corner very well.
The rest are 'non starters'

Many are built for out and out speed, and 0 to 60 - 100 - 160 - 0

To be honest, I had more fun with the WS6.
Same engine 350 + bhp as the 'vette, just a bit heavier.
Where the 'vette was sub 4 seconds to 60, the WS6 was sub 5,5 seconds.

The 'vette tops out around 179 and the WS6 around 172.

While I do wonder about the reliability side of it, you cannot help but argue that Mr T over engineered the engine anyway.
Look at other models (fortuner) which have the same, slight varient, 3.0L D4D yet develop more. So do they just map it differently to produce more, do they adopt the "we'll keep this secret and over stress the engine but give it more power as people do not expect 300,000 miles out of it" stance?

As much as I would like to chip it and I do actually believe it will not harm anything with a mild boost, if I break down somewhere between here and cape town I will be mildy upset...
