Nice looking motor Lenny

Fitted a Safari Snorkel to Tommo's 90 a couple of weeks back.
Just remember it's a bl**dy site easier to undo the bottom of the rear of the wing than to struggle without doing so.
Just a tip for when you get yours Exclamation

BigS, The tyres size is 265/75/16.

Ecky Thump, thanks for the tip about the snorkal I will fit one when the funds are available,I just find the snorkals a bit expensive for what they are,as for getting it dirty it does get a mud bath once in a while Smile

Got to agree, however you need to speak to Tommo.

He is doing regular trips from Portsmouth up to just north of Glasgow. I don't know if he has any solid figures yet but he was really surprised that with the snorkel
the fuel consumption figures have improved.
Going by what he said, It shouldn't be too long with them sort of trips before the snorkel pays for itself.

They are expensive as you say, but the fit and quality are perfect. There is an extra expense of a 83mm hole saw for the fitting.
Took about three hours (with fag & tea breaks). The pain in the butt was the new hole for the indicator (wish I still had my Dremmel). Lots of small drill holes
and a hacksaw blade).

It took me a long while before I could afford one for my 80 but i'm glad I have done it now after all the sodden air filters i've had.
Bit of a bu**er really, because it seems to have made no difference to my fuel consumption. Crying or Very sad
