Has anyone removed the injectors from the 1HD-FT engine? Are any special tools required? A local diesel specialist can test/clean/refurb them from £15 each depending on what,if any,parts need replacing.Since getting to them requires removal of the rocker cover,taking them out myself will save a few ££ on labour charges.

Phil.

No special tools are required. just undo the clamp bolt and the pipe. you will need to wiggle them and turn them to release them from the seat as it is a tight fit.
