About a week after parking the old VX up, she would'nt start, I had, had the beast valeted, and all she would do was click loudly when I turned the key, yep naughty valeter had got stuff wet I thought, well, what was really wrong was the huge relay that powers up the starter motor was hanging upside down by the starter instead of neatly bolted to the nearside inner wing, it was full of water and very badly corroded, a 70 amp relay got the old girl fired up real nice, (not OE) and now we're running I'll order up a new one, in a way I'm glad it happened on my drive, "cos now I know how to start without a relay, Life's funny Ain'it ? : |
