Yes, that definitely works for me - no great desire for certification, just happy to learn the do's and don'ts!

£30 sounds very reasonable!

Thanks for following this up!

Cheers,

I'm def. keen. One request though - can we do this somewhere towards the middle of the island so I don't have to take a week off to get there and back??  Laughing  Laughing  Twisted Evil  Twisted Evil

The Lakes would be nice - there's a nice section there we know that would be perfect  Laughing  Laughing

You can count me in, depending on where the training is taking place, £30 sounds very reasonable.

For sure - accreditation means little to me, not getting hurt means a lot.

£30 sounds very reasonable.

Many thanks for taking this up.

Hey Gary- i'd love to do it in the lakes, but i'm not sure its feasible as everyone else will have to drive 5 hours to get there-

I can organise it so that you don't need a vehicle- a LOT of recovery work is non vehicle specific- ie hi-lifts, tirfors, theory etc

perhaps you could fly down to Bristol/Heathrow with easyslut and get someone passing to pick you up?

Yep - not to worry.  I'll make a plan - maybe steal SWMBOs Yaris and we can play at recovering that  Laughing

Oh - wait - that'll leave her with my LC, and I know the state it was in when she gave it back to me last time....

Maybe not, then.  Wink

I did a course with Mr Lovejoy (Pugwash will know who I mean) and gained a LANTRA ticket. It is well worth it even without getting the ticket.

Oh yes my LC was the only one to break the ground anchor.
