sounds cheap to me for what we might learn even those that think we know something _________________ Jon m0zxj

Yes, that definitely works for me - no great desire for certification, just happy to learn the do's and don'ts!
£30 sounds very reasonable!
Thanks for following this up!

I'm def. keen. One request though - can we do this somewhere towards the middle of the island so I don't have to take a week off to get there and back??
The Lakes would be nice - there's a nice section there we know that would be perfect _________________ I'll be more enthusiastic about encouraging thinking outside the box when there's evidence of any thinking going on inside it.

You can count me in, depending on where the training is taking place, £30 sounds very reasonable.

For sure - accreditation means little to me, not getting hurt means a lot.
£30 sounds very reasonable.
Many thanks for taking this up. _________________ HDJ80, BFG AT's, grooved discs, OME 850/860's |

Hey Gary- i'd love to do it in the lakes, but i'm not sure its feasible as everyone else will have to drive 5 hours to get there-
I can organise it so that you don't need a vehicle- a LOT of recovery work is non vehicle specific- ie hi-lifts, tirfors, theory etc
perhaps you could fly down to Bristol/Heathrow with easyslut and get someone passing to pick you up? |

Yep - not to worry. I'll make a plan - maybe steal SWMBOs Yaris and we can play at recovering that
Oh - wait - that'll leave her with my LC, and I know the state it was in when she gave it back to me last time....
Maybe not, then. _________________ I'll be more enthusiastic about encouraging thinking outside the box when there's evidence of any thinking going on inside it.

I did a course with Mr Lovejoy (Pugwash will know who I mean) and gained a LANTRA ticket. It is well worth it even without getting the ticket.
Oh yes my LC was the only one to break the ground anchor.

That works for me
In terms of dates, can we please try to avoid the weekend of 14 November? Will be at work on amssive deployment for the whole weekend
But I'm already spending the overtime payment _________________ I'll be more enthusiastic about encouraging thinking outside the box when there's evidence of any thinking going on inside it.
