I have to recommend William A. Lewis Toyota in Shrewsbury. I know they're not cheap on labour but I bought an air filter the other day and the lad at the service desk gave me a very healthy discount, better than trade I think. Will see what they can do on an oil filter and oil !!!! A very pleasant and polite service.

I gave up with them, I now use the one up at Wrexham, they have always been more than happy to help.

When I emailed Toyota Shrewsbury to find out if they could help with my HDJ81 I got nothing but silence. It must be nice not to need the business. |

For my experience with dealing with William A. Lewis Toyota in Shrewsbury, I have to say if I had an option I would give them a wide berth.
The young guy on the parts counter has clearly had a sense of humor by-pass as I have never seen him smile.
Also when ever I order parts, as soon as I quote the HDJ81 start of the VIN number, I always get a reply of "oh it's an import is it"... this is said with an oh how dare you tone in his voice. |

They obviously don't like 80s!!!! I'll keep using them for as long as I can get discounted parts from there. I wouldn't take the beast into the garage though, not sure how much they know about older-tech 4x4s. Took it in just the once to sort out a problem with programming a new key fob, no joy after several attempts, managed to sort it out myself in the end and £70 out of pocket. Like I said, would recommend for cheap parts (unless you own an 80!!!! ).
