Hi All

I have recently purchased a new remote from a firm in the USA that I saw mentioned on here a few weeks ago, it arrived today and the programming instructions require that I access the alarm "brain" which I believe is normally located under the drivers seat. Having crawled around, all I can see is the seat motor mechanism and the blower for the rear heater.

It looks as though I will have to unbolt the seat to access the "brain". Bearing in mind that I have the mechanical prowess similar to that of an inebriated chipanzee Rolling Eyes , I could do with some solid advice.

After having a good look all I can see are two bolts to the front of the seat that have ready access and that can be undone, however I do not expect that it will be as simple as that and that there must be more bolts etc that need dealing with. Can someone confirm the following:

Is the alarm "brain" actually under the drivers seat (before I go and unbolt it)

Which bolts (and where they are) do I need to undo to get access to the "brain"

Thanks in advance for any help that you can offer.

Location of the alarm 'brain' depends on year and alarm type. On mine with the TVSS3B alarm its under the centre console.

Yeah but the instructions are for the American market so I'd look under the passenger seat, that's where mine is.
